German Pancakes and Buttermilk Syrup - Holly Colton

2 TB butter-- melt in pan
1 C. Milk
1 C. Flour
4 Eggs
dash of salt
squirt of vanilla
dash of cinnamon
Blend together and put in 9x13 inch pan. Oven 425 bake for 12-15 minutes.
Buttermilk Syrup
1 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup butter (or margarine)
2 TB corn syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
In a medium saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil - except for the vanilla extract. Allow to boil gently for at least 5 minutes. Remove from heat and immediately stir in the vanilla.

Made this one Sunday morning and it turned out ok. Be sure to grease the pan before baking! Didn't make the syrup since I forgot to buy buttermilk on saturday.
